Last week I went to Milan to catch up with friends and, of course, to do some shopping.
I am like most women, obsessed with shoes. Actually, I am more obsessed with killer heels. They are not always comfortable, but the way they make me feel, stand taller, and look so much slimmer; is worth the pain.
I have quite a few pair of these killer heels in my made to order shoe display wardrobe thing. I had it made, because I wanted the shoes to be a part of the decor of my boudoir. There are lights that light up the shoes from behind, and all pairs are on display. You can slightly hide them with the shimmery gold and khaki curtain that I can close, in case I have friends who get shoe envy. ;-)
So, back to Milan, I found a small shop that sells all types of designer shoes. Normally, I go to the main stretch of designer shops, where you have everything from Gucci to Versace, but no Louboutin. So I sought this shop, and they did not fail to impress me.
Of all the designer shoes I have, I have always wanted a pair of Louboutin. Seeing them worn by celebs in magazines, I got shoe envy at how elegant, sexy and feminine they looked. They also have this air of, "Mistress", about them. Something a bit more than sexy. There aren't many shops that just sell Louboutin, which is probably why I haven't bought a pair up until now. Normally I wander into a store and buy something. These shoes had all I desired. Height, patent colours, and that gorgeous lipstick red sole that screams, "Hey Sexy!" These particular shoes are from the Spring Summer 2010 collection. They seem to have been inspired by the artist Mondrian, with their block, bright colours.
I wore them for the first time yesterday to a celeb event in Knightsbridge yesterday. How did they make me feel? A godess with a whip!
I did take them off on the way home as I was driving, and I didn't want to scuff them on the driving pedals. When I got home, I put them back on display for me to stare at and adore, until the next time I want to feel my inner mistress come out to play.
