What a beautiful day it was yesterday, a rarity in the UK, especially if you have somewhere to go. Yesterday, I attended Jennifer Lopez's film premiere, and was hoping for a lovely day! I went with 3 friends, one a designer, (Mayka) the other a designer and good friend, (Louis Mariette), and the third one of my bff's.The sun shone down beautifully, and everything went perfectly. I wore a dress by Mayka, from her label, Love Mayka. A stunning silk dress that hung on all curves, enhancing them in the right places. It felt like I wasn't wearing anything, because the material was so silky soft! I love this dress so much! Not only was it a couture dress, but the colours and print were so avant garde. Also, there was no way anyone would have had the same dress, as this is the only one ever made! How special do I feel! Clothes should be an extension of some part of your personality, and this dress was all that and more.
I also wore shoes by Louboutin, which you can't really see in these pictures, though one member of the crowd had good eyes and shouted, "I love your shoes!" Thanks for noticing! :-)My hair was in a messy up do, decorated by a beautiful head piece by Louis Mariette, who posed beautifully on the red carpet alongside me. My dress complimented the pink carpet, oh how girly, and I was dancing to the music and fabulous dancers provided for the entertainment of the crowd.
The crowd was huge, and a very happy crowd! It's nice when the weather is great, I always feel sorry for those people that wait for hours in the rain to catch a glimpse of the stars, so, sunshine we love you.
Jennifer looked lovely, though I must say, I thought my dress was better! :-P
